About Us
Rochedale – Springwood Meals On Wheels delivered its first meals in July 1979.
Our meals are home-cooked and prepared daily in the kitchen situated at 19 Nerida Street, Rochedale South.
We are a community service that operates with the assistance from the Commonwealth and for program CHSP. We receive funding from the federal and state governments.
As we are a non-profit organisation, we rely on the outgoing generosity and commitment of volunteers who donate their time and energy so we can produce nutritious meals to our clients for either short or long term.
Our mission is to provide a daily meal at a low cost to assist people to remain independent in their homes for as long as is appropriate .
We deliver Monday to Friday, hot meals if required or cold meals, plus we supply frozen meals on weekends and holidays.
We deliver in Rochedale, Rochedale South, Daisy Hill, Shailer Park, Springwood & Underwood.
